How does sending a letter work?
You write your letter in the app, yourself or with AI help. FrankKi formats it in DIN 5008, prints it on real paper, puts it in an envelope, and posts it. You follow every step live in the app.
Do I need a printer?
No. That is the whole point. FrankKi handles printing, the envelope, and posting completely. All you need is your iPhone.
How long does delivery take?
A standard letter is delivered within 1 to 3 working days inside Germany. International delivery times depend on the destination.
What does a letter cost?
A standard letter costs from €3,39 (black and white) or €3,49 in colour. A registered letter starts at €7,59. You pay directly by card or Apple Pay. No subscription, no credit balance. You see the exact price before you send. International prices are calculated per destination.
Can I send a registered letter?
Yes. You have two options to choose from: registered Einwurf (delivered with a proof of mailing, no signature, from €7,59) and registered with signature (handed over personally against the recipient signature, from €8,19). Both with tracking.
Do I get a tracking number?
Standard letters do not have a tracking number. You see the status of your letter in the app: ordered, printed, sent. After sending we show you the estimated delivery window (1 to 3 working days in Germany). For real tracking with proof of delivery, choose a registered letter: as Einwurf (with proof of mailing) or with signature (handed over against signature).
Is it legally valid?
Yes. Your letter is printed on real paper and delivered by post, identical to a letter you posted yourself.
What can the AI do?
The AI drafts your letter based on your description. You say, for example, "I want to cancel my gym membership", and the AI writes a formally correct cancellation letter. You can edit the text afterwards at any time.
Is my data stored?
Your letters are stored locally on your iPhone. To send a letter it is transferred once to the print service provider and deleted after printing. No account needed. No ads. No tracking.
